Creek View is a lovely holiday home, situated in the pretty, unspoilt fishing village of Noss Mayo. The house overlooks the creek where a mix of walkers, sailors and locals together with the tide coming and going create an ever changing scene. It sleeps up to 7 people (see configuration below).
Creek View has an ‘upside-down’ design with the open plan lounge/dining area located on the top floor allowing you to fully enjoy the lovely view over the village. From the living room, a door leads out on to a decked balcony overlooking the creek – ideal for light lunches or sundowners and of course plenty of people watching!
The bedrooms downstairs also have views allowing you to check the tide (and the weather) whilst sipping your morning cup of tea in bed!
Noss Mayo has two waterside pubs – both of which serve food, a children’s playground, a seasonal alfresco tea garden, a visiting fish and chip van and a Sunday morning newspaper seller! The village of Newton Ferrers, on the opposite bank, can be reached on foot by causeway (at low-tide) and provides a decent size Co-Op, butcher, pub (serving food), post office, pharmacy and tea room.
From Noss Mayo itself you can paddle in the creek when the tide is in, join the children (and their more competitive parents) crab fishing when the tide is out or set off along the South Devon Coastal Path with its amazing views.
If you jump in the car there is a large sandy beach at Mothecombe (4 miles), a lovely beach with super café at Wembury and the beautiful Bigbury on Sea and Bantham Beach within a 25 minute drive. Plymouth (about 10 miles away) has a cinema, aquarium, some excellent restaurants and of course loads of shops! Totnes, Dartmouth and Salcombe are all a short drive away and have lovely shops and restaurants.

Ground floor: Bedroom 1 – king sized bed (with additional child size pull-out truckle bed), wash basin and doors to garden; Bedroom 2 – Twin bedroom with bunk beds; Bedroom 3 – king sized bed with washbasin. Bathroom with toilet, shower cubicle and bath. Wetroom with shower.
First floor: Entrance hallway, cloakroom with toilet, open-plan living/dining room with wood burning stove and fitted kitchen area. Garage with washing machine and tumble dryer, and storage area.
